"I met Lisa on a perfect autumn day in Ashcroft, Colorado, in what turned out to be quite a serendipitous meeting. My friend and I had ventured out to Aspen for the weekend to experience the peak fall colors for the first time. And what a weekend it was! Prior to heading back home after a spectacular two days of hiking, we decided to stop at Castle Creek with the dogs for one last view. The backdrop was so breathtaking with the vibrant yellows in the early afternoon sun that we ended up spending the next hour walking the creek. It was one of those special Colorado moments that often sneaks up on you, where you are simply overcome with gratitude and feel, above all, content.
As we were heading back to the car, we ran across Lisa, who happened to be painting that picturesque view and had incorporated myself and the dog walking the creek into the painting. It was such a wonderful memory captured on paper, and I inquired about purchasing the finished product. And I am so very thankful that I did. The compliment of colors and attention to detail truly captured the essence of the day, and I could not be happier with the painting. Thank you, Lisa, for your beautiful work."
